Roasted Purple Cabbage Slices

These thin, roasted slices of cabbage will become your new favorite.

Roasted Purple Cabbage

What you will need:

  • 1 Head of purple cabbage (cut into 1 inch slices)
  • Oil of choice preferably: Avocado Oil, or Coconut Oil (high smoke point). If you do use olive oil remember that Olive Oil has a smoke point of 400.
  • Seasonings of your choice
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

 

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2. Coat the cabbage slices with the oil of your choice.

3. Season the cabbage slices with the following: garlic powder, onion powder, pink himalayan sea salt,

black pepper, and crushed red pepper.

4. Roast cabbage slices until outer leaves become crunchy.
